I won't talk about March; do your own research. However, this pub/hotel is perfect for a stopover. Peaceful night, decent-sized warm rooms with comfortable beds and a nice shower. TV, coffee/tea facilities, bedside lights, and seating area making it cozy. Located in town center, may hear traffic, but earplugs are provided. Check-in was easy and professional, staff were friendly. Small free car park, free but arrives early, big paid car park opposite. Enjoyable dinner and good priced beer selection. Locals seemed a bit grumpy, but that could be just me.

Second visit to Olde Griffin, this time for New Year's Eve. Clean, spacious rooms with tea/coffee facilities. TV with free view, bathroom with bath/waterfall shower and body wash. Soft towels. Comfy bed. Great, knowledgeable bar staff especially about gins. Delicious dinner, good DJ, fantastic New Year's atmosphere. Great breakfast. Convenient location for browsing high street and walking around. Can't wait to return!

Family and dog-friendly pub with a lovely beer garden space with heat lamps for chilly evenings. Mixr reward app is great for collecting points on food and drink to turn into vouchers. Entertainment throughout the week including live DJ on Fridays and Saturdays

Beautiful pub with welcoming staff, cozy and warm with comfortable seating. A bit dated as it is a 16th-century historical building with original features and charm. Super dog-friendly. Excellent housekeeping team. Love the menu and Sunday & Wednesday carvery. Beautiful place
